Retaining Walls and Fencing: What You Need to Know
The house to the left of me was built at a slightly higher elevation than mine. Because of this, we have a small retaining wall between our property in the backyard. This helps prevent a mini mudslide in my yard during periods of heavy rain.
When I bought the house, there was already a fence in place atop the retaining wall.
But that fence had seen better days and I knew it was time to replace it. What I did not realize is how labor intensive doing so would be and how much more it would cost me.
If you are replacing a fence on or near a retaining wall, I hope my website helps you to learn more about what you can expect from the process.
